Yeni yapılan bir araştırma, daha çok seks yapmanın daha mutlu olmanın garantisi olmadığını ortaya koyuyor.
Keşke her şey bu kadar basit olsaydı: Daha fazla seks, ilişkinin daha iyi olmasını sağlasa, mutluluğumuza mutluluk katsaydı. Daha önceki birçok araştırma da bu iddiayı savunuyordu. Ama Social Psychological and Personal Science’da yayımlanan bir araştırma, işleri tersine çeviriyor.
Söz konusu çalışma, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde yaşayan 30.000 çift üzerinde uygulanan anketlerden elde edilen verilere dayandırılıyor. Sonuçlardan ilkine göre haftada 1 kez seks yapmak, seksten elde edebileceğin bütün mutlulukları almana yetiyor! Üstelik bu durumu kişinin yaşı, cinsiyeti ya da ne kadar süredir ilişki içerisinde olduğu da etkilemiyor.
Tabii bu noktada bir soluklanmak gerek. Çünkü bu araştırma ve dolayısıyla elde edilen sonuçlar sadece romantik ilişki içerisindeki bireyleri kapsıyor. Yalnız olanlar için seks ve mutluluk arasındaki ilişkiyi etkileyebilecek onlarca faktör bulunuyor. Bu gruba tek gecelik ilişkiler ya da açık ilişki yaşayanlar da dahil.
Sonuç? Seks elbette ilişkinin “mutlu” devam edebilmesi için vazgeçilmez bir konumda. Ama sırf mutlu olmak için seksi her gün yapmanıza da gerek yok.
